Singer and songwriter Al’Tereius (Jah) Pratt, most notably known for his southern twang in gospel genre, started his singing journey in 2015.  Creating a unique sound with his multidimensional voice, he is able to reach individuals of all ages and nationalities. His new single introduces a spin on gospel by incorporating a jazzy sound, while also keeping the feel of the traditional hand clapping and foot stomping gospel that we know and love. 

In addition to his upcoming single he will also bring new music to the forefront that would display that southern spin of what we call, “food for the soul.” 

 

Growing up Jah found his passion for song and rhythm as he attended church services with his grandmother every Sunday morning. As a child he felt he was very peculiar, as he was able to mimic the performances of other gospel artists vocals and sounds. Later, he went on to perfect his own techniques and sound, which allowed him to go develop the voice he has today. He went on to encourage other young man and women to become a vocal psalmist.
